Agenda: City Council Meeting of January 18, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. following Public Hearing Mobile/Modular Home Permit at 5:15 p.m.

  1. Call to order by Mayor Pollard, Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
  2. Roll Call.
  3. Approve January 4, 2022, Council Meeting Minutes.
  4. For council consideration, discussion and possible approval:
    1. Possible approval of Mobile/Modular Home Permit:401 Schumaker Street.
    2. Cynthia Attebury, City Clerk will present for David Andreas and Jeremy Billington the renewal of the Symetra Stop Loss Insurance for the City of Carmi Health Care Plan’s reinsurance policy from 02/01/2022 to 01/31/2023.
    3. Proposal from Alpha Mechanical Services, Inc. for repair of fluid cooler leak at the Carmi Light Plant in the amount of $23,585.00
    4. TIF Façade Agreement request from the White County Historical Society for 110 South Main Cross Street (Robinson Stewart House) for $5000.00.
    5. Mayor is requesting a budget of $150,000.00 for remodeling, furniture, and equipment for the new Police Department on Oak Street.
  1. Reports and/or updates from Mayor Pollard
  2. Reports from Standing Committees.
  3. Business or comments from visitors.
  4. Closed Session to discuss personnel and property issues with no action to follow.
  5. Adjournment
