Carmi Chamber to host S.T.I.R again

We would like to invite you to join us on October 24th in downtown Carmi for S.T.I.R.

Come Shop, Taste, Interact, and Remember to stay 6 feet apart.

The S.T.I.R. event this past June was a huge success and we wanted to bring it to you again! We would like to line downtown Main St. with gifts, jewelry, food and sweet treats from all your favorite local businesses!

This is just for brick and mortar stores, not direct sales companies. Need not be a member of the Chamber to participate.

If your store is not located on Main Street you have two choices to participate 1) reserve a spot to set up on Main Street or 2) stay at your own location and be added to a map of participating businesses!

Please contact Kelly Northcott, Chamber Director at chamber@cityofcarmi.com by October 19th to reserve a space or be added to the map.

We will have designated spaces placed along the sidewalk for those of you without a store front on Main Street.

Let us know if you need electricity and we will place you accordingly.

We do have a few guidelines we would like businesses and shoppers to follow if they would like to participate.

Business Guidelines

– Please have hand sanitizer readily available for shoppers to use if they wish.

-If you have more than one table please space them at least 6ft apart to keep shoppers at a safe distance from one another.

-Try to enforce one shopper or family of shoppers per table.

Shopper Guidelines

– Shop

– Please practice social distancing.
