Carmi Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Directors

The Carmi Chamber of Commerce has announced the results of its election for the 2018-19 slate of Directors.

Joining the Chamber of Commerce Board for the 2018-2019 term will be Amber Ackerman of The Property Shop, Clint Taylor of Taylor Eye Care, Cynthia Attebury of the City of Carmi and Professional Auto Parts, Anna Baumgart of Banterra Bank, Denton Weiss of Gottzz’s and Cody Gottman of H.D. Bean Jewelers.

The new directors will be introduced at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner, to be held Monday, Oct. 1st at First Christian Church in Carmi.  Reservations for the dinner are due by Monday, September 17th.  Chamber Executive Director Lauren Higginson can be contacted at 618-382-7606 or via e-mail at chamber@cityofcarmi.com for reservations. 

Ackerman will be the incoming officer and will serve a five-year term, while Taylor, Attebury, Baumgart and Weiss will serve three-year terms on the Board.  Gottman will be filling the vacancy created by a recent resignation from the Board and will serve a two-year term.
