Agenda: City Council Meeting of May 4, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.

1. Call to order by Mayor Pollard, Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Roll Call.
3. Approve April 20, 2021 Council Meeting Minutes
4. Mr. Greg Stewart, City Attorney will administer the Oaths of Office to the newly-elected City Officials: Sheila Headlee, Alderman Ward 1, Doug Hays, Alderman Ward 2, Steve Winkleman, Alderman Ward 3 and Tracy Nelson, Alderman Ward 4.  Oaths of Office administered to Cynthia Attebury, City Clerk and Jeff Pollard, Mayor.
5. For council consideration, discussion and possible approval:
   1. Resolution 05.04.2021; A resolution renewing the employee’s safety incentive program for the period of April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
   2. TIF Agreement:  Jansen Auto Group, LLC for a parking lot resurfacing projection. 
   3. Resolution 05.05.2021:  A resolution authorizing an agreement with Jansen Auto Group, LLC for a parking lot resurfacing project utilizing TIF.
   4. Greg Stewart, City Attorney, to discuss building permits and demolition permits. 
   5. Greg Stewart, City Attorney, to discuss previously tabled changes of ordinances, section 8 of Ordinance #20, Ordinance #918 and Ordinance #1199; Ordinances pertaining to regulating nuisances and livestock within the City of Carmi.
6. Reports and/or updates from Mayor Pollard.
7. Reports from Standing Committees.
8. Business or comments from visitors.
9. Closed Session to discuss personnel and property issues with no action to follow.
