Bell Named Chamber Scholarship Winner

The Carmi Chamber of Commerce announced today that Haley Bell is the recipient of the 2015 Carmi Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. The scholarship is worth a total $4000, paid over a four year period.
Haley has been involved in a number of activities during high school including Math Team, Student Council, Science Club, Maroon Platoon, Bulldog Book Club, Business Team, National Honor Society and Drama Club. She is planning to attend the University of Illinois in the fall to study engineering.  Carmi Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Holly Healy noted, “We wish Haley well in her future endeavors and look forward to hearing of her success.”
The Carmi Chamber of Commerce scholarship is funded by the annual Golf Outing. This year’s outing, brought in part by Gold Sponsors First Bank and People’s National Bank and Silver Sponsor Botsch and Associates CPA’s, LLC, will be held June 27 at the Carmi County Club.
