The new facility is an extension and expansion of current Wabash Christian therapy services and a new partnership with other area professionals. Sandra Bryant, Executive Director of Wabash Christian Retirement Center, has worked closely with Randy Dauby, CEO and Bradley Futrell, COO of Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro and Jay Purvis, CEO and Karissa Turner, Director of Physician Services of Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, in an effort to bring more medical services and specialists to the area.
Doctor Kalpesh Bhesaniya and Nurse Practitioner Paul Havrilka of Hamilton Memorial Hospital will share days at the clinic to provide services of primary care for patients of all ages. They will staff the clinic Monday through Friday for existing and new patients.
Wabash General Hospital will be expanding their orthopedic services at the Wabash Christian Therapy & Medical Clinic through Drs. Justin Miller/orthopedic surgeon and Karsten Slater/Sports Medicine Physician, who will alternate weekly.
In addition, The Wabash Christian Therapy and Medical Clinic will offer laboratory and radiology through the services of Hamilton Memorial Hospital. They will be equipped to provide such services as laboratory testing, EKGs and x-rays on site for anyone who brings a physician’s order to the clinic.
Business After Hours provides the public an opportunity to visit and tour the new facility. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Holly Healy stated, “We hope the community will take advantage of the opportunity to familiarize themselves with this Chamber business. We appreciate Wabash Christian’s willingness to host Business After Hours in their new facility.”
