The Carmi Chamber of Commerce was excited to welcome its newest member, the Carmi Christmas Elves, with a ribbon cutting on November 27- the opening night of the Christmas Elves second annual Christmas Lights of Hope drive-thru light show.

In their first year the Carmi Christmas Elves raised $15,000 that went straight back into the community by providing food vouchers for families in need.

This year they have set a goal of $30,000! The funds this year will go to providing children with new coats, shoes, and socks. The children will also receive a haircut and Bulldog shirt. 168 children have already been fitted for these items.

Christmas Lights of Hope is open every weekend starting on Fridays, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. With the last night of the season being Christmas Eve. So, put Christmas Lights of Hope on your list of things to do with the family this holiday season, and come see over 165 amazing light displays. Suggested $5 donation per car.
