Seven local businesses participated in the first ever CWCHS Homecoming Parade Decorated Storefront Contest this year, while many others decorated without entering the contest. 

Each entry did a spectacular job of displaying their Bulldog Pride, and the Maroon Platoon judges had a difficult time choosing a winner. 

After looking and re-looking at all the entries, they chose a “on the parade route winner” – The 103 grounded in grace/The Print Shop and an “off the parade route winner”- Horizon Healthcare.  

 “We were glad the Maroon Platoon approached the chamber about holding this fun contest for the local businesses of the community and want to say thank you to those of you that contributed to filling Carmi with Bulldog Pride.   A list of the participating businesses, along with pictures of the displays, can be found on the Chamber’s Facebook page.” noted Chamber Director Kelly Northcott.
