The Carmi Chamber of Commerce has announced a lighted yard contest as part of It’s a White County Christmas. Those wishing to nominate a yard should contact the Chamber office at 618-382-7606 or chamber@cityofcarmi.com by Friday, December 5 with the street address. Homes should be located within Carmi city limits.
Homes will be judged on December 10, weather permitting. The winner will receive $50 in Carmi dollars and an opportunity to display the Yard of the Month sign if they choose to do so.
The Lighted Yard Contest is brought to you in part by Haley Production Company, Eastern Services, Carmi Lions Club, Banterra Bank, Carmi Kiwanis Club and Southeastern Illinois College.
