The Carmi Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, June 3, 2021, in honor of member, Fairfield Memorial Hospital-Horizon Healthcare Carmi Clinic’s one year anniversary.
Visitors were able to tour FMH Horizon Healthcare’s renovated, modern, comfortable exam rooms and meet the staff that are working at the Carmi Clinic. FMH Horizon Healthcare’s held a free cookout in the parking lot serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, baked beans, drinks and Tropical Sno sno cones.
“Fairfield Memorial Hospital is very proud to be able to offer services to the citizens of Carmi and the surrounding communities, so they do not have to drive all the way to Fairfield for their non-urgent healthcare needs. The response to this Clinic in its first year of operation has been incredible and we feel blessed by the outpouring of support we have received. Our clinic’s location and services provided offer patients the opportunity to be seen without having to travel out of town for non-emergent services.” stated Katherine Bunting-Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
FMH’s Horizon Healthcare Carmi Clinic is open Monday-Friday, from 7:00am-5:00pm. Appointments can be made by calling 618-842-4617. Walk-ins are also welcome. Patients can have their outpatient lab work performed at the Clinic even if they do not see a provider at the Carmi Clinic. The Carmi Clinic offers the same level of excellence that we have strived to provide at the Fairfield, Grayville, and Cisne Clinics. Services that we provide include acute, chronic, and preventative office visits, state of the art digital x-ray on-site, laboratory services, behavioral health, minor foot care procedures, minor lacerations/suturing, joint injections, routine women’s health exams, DOT testing, and more. Plans are in place to add Ortho and other specialty services in the near future. The FMH Horizon Healthcare Carmi Medical Clinic is located next to CVS Pharmacy at 1103 W. Main Street, Carmi, IL 62821.
