Wabash Christian Retirement Center is now Wabash Christian Village

Mayor Jeff Pollard, City Clerk Cynthia Attebury, Sandra Irvin, Carmi Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Holly Healy and chamber members joins Wabash Christian Village staff and volunteers to publicly announce the new name but same values since 1974.

Wabash Christian Retirement Center is changing its name to Wabash Christian Village (WBCV). The change better describes the unique position WBCV enjoys in the community.  WCV offers the widest range of senior living options in the area, is the only certified memory care community and operates highly acclaimed therapy services.

The WBCV family includes Wabash Christian Therapy (formerly Wabash Christian Therapy and Medical Clinic), Wabash Christian Supportive Living (formerly Supportive Living of Wabash), GracePoint short-term rehab, Heritage Apartments, Garden Homes, Memory Care and Long Term Care.

WBCV is part of the Christian Horizons (CH) family of ministries. CH is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization with thirteen communities across four Midwestern states, all deeply committed to the well-being of residents and their families. Today CH is one of the largest faith-based, not-for-profit senior living providers in the country.

Though the name has changed, WBCV embraces the same values it did in 1974 when it began serving White County and the surrounding area.

Discover the WBCV family for yourself by visiting WabashChristianVillage.org.
